New Features in Version 11.5 (December 2012)

Payroll was enhanced so that:

PDF copies of all Direct Deposit Vouchers are now stored. They may be emailed to employees any time after the Check Posting has been completed. This new feature is accessed at Utilities>View Postings and Backups. This was a User Conference suggestion.

Timesheet Import can now read hours in a Decimal (3.5 hours) or HH:MM (3:30) format.

The Timesheet Import function can now import Equipment Usage.

Any or all Pay Stubs may now be reprinted by individual, accessed from Payroll>Payments>Reprint Check Stubs.

The Certification Report may be printed with separate Fringe Benefit Rate and Day of the Week labels.

The Employee Browse window now shows which employees are set up for Direct Deposit. This was a User Conference suggestion.

The Payment History list box on the History/Notes tab in the Employee Entry window contains a new column with Total Hours. This was a User Conference suggestion.

In Timesheet entry, the Change Dates in Tagged Batches procedure can now change the Pay Period Ending Date and individual Timesheet Dates separately. This was a User Conference suggestion.

The Payroll Check Register report now allows the choice of which deductions will be printed. This was a User Conference suggestion.

When printing paychecks, the Highest Check Number Needed prompt now excludes Direct Deposit vouchers. This was a User Conference suggestion.

Job Costing was enhanced so that:

A Project Manager/Superintendent may now be designated as the “Main” one, useful if there is more than one on a job. Also, the Main Project Manager is now displayed in the List of Jobs on the Job Entry browse window. This was a User Conference suggestion.

The Job Listing report now includes Totals at the bottom of columns when Budget Information is included on the report.

When inserting a new Auto Job Billing line item in Job Entry, the default for all Billing Methods is Percent Markup with a 0% value. This was a User Conference suggestion.

Accounts Payable was enhanced so that:

A/P Invoices may now be imported from One File, One Record (the same as it does with A/R Invoices).

Under Setup>Accounting Options>Accounts Payable>Defaults & Misc Tab, a new Check Box turns on “Check for Duplicates During Invoice Entry.

The Invoice List in Payment Selection displays a Lightning Bolt Icon for invoices from vendors that are set up for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). This was a User Conference suggestion.

When selecting invoices to be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in Payment Selection, it is not necessary to Select all EFT Invoices each time an invoice is selected. This was a User Conference suggestion.

Accounts Receivable was enhanced so that:

Routing Numbers for Deposit Tickets can now be set up to be different than the Routing Numbers on checks. This is set up in GL>Enter Accounts [select a Cash Account]>Account Setup Tab>Edit Bank Information.

The Unit Price Billing window now has the ability to Exclude Closed or Inactive Jobs. This was a User Conference suggestion.

When creating emails in the Invoice Printing and Statement Printing procedures, it is now possible to set up the Subject Line and Body Text. This was a User Conference suggestion.

Purchase Orders were enhanced so that:

When importing Purchase Orders, each new purchase order is automatically assigned the next available Purchase Order Number. This was a User Conference suggestion.

General Ledger was enhanced so that:

When adding Bank Information in GL Account Entry>Account Setup Tab> Edit Bank Information, the Reference Code may be changed for ACH/Direct Deposit files. This was a User Conference suggestion.

General Enhancements:

It is now possible to duplicate an entire batch using the drag and drop feature (Right-click on a Timesheet or Invoice to see a menu of drag and drop options). This was a User Conference suggestion.

A new option allows Envelopes and/or Labels to be printed in Upper Case. This was a User Conference suggestion.

When Printing Envelopes, it is now possible to change the Page Size to match the selected envelope size.

The Electronic File Cabinet now disallows access to certain information based on User Access settings. This was a User Conference suggestion.

The Favorite Reports window now has the option being opened at maximum height. This was a User Conference suggestion.

In Utilities > View Postings and Backups, the window now shows which Check Postings produced an ACH transfer file (Direct Deposits and EFT.) For those postings, it is now possible to view the ACH file or to Email Vouchers to employees or vendors. This was a User Conference suggestion.

It is now possible to view and reprint a PDF copy of checks displayed in the Overview windows where Check Information is displayed. This includes a Continuation Sheet for AP Checks that have too many invoices to fit on the Check Stub. This was a User Conference suggestion.

The Utilities>Support>Show Statistics window now displays where the most recent backups were stored.
