New Features in Version 15.1 (June 2015)

General Enhancements

A “Save and Print” button was added to all Report Limit Edit windows. This allows users to click the OK button to automatically save the current limits when printing a report from a browse window.

A new “Display Toolbar” checkbox on the Setup menu allows the user to either display or hide the toolbar that is usually displayed atop the main JobView window.

A new button in the Backup Data Files window allows the user to Open the Backup Destination Folder in Windows Explorer.

The “Organizing Files” now runs in the background, making a daily safety backup during logout. While this is a convenience, please do not turn your computer off while it is making a backup.

To-Do List items may now be tracked by user.

The name of the ACH text file created in Paycheck or AP Check Printing now includes the year.

The method of selecting label formats in Customer, Employee, Vendor and Contact listing limit windows was modified for convenience.

Job Costing

When printing Job Cost reports that include unposted transactions in AP & PR batches, a new option allows the exclusion of Repeating Batches. User Conference Suggestion

The Job Listing report now includes Contract Amounts.

The Change Orders displayed on the Change Order tab in Job Setup are now sorted by Change Order Number.

A new button on the General tab in Job Setup will Recalculate the Approved Changes and Current Contract values.

A new option now allows activation or deactivation of ALL cost codes on a job in a single step.

A new report was added that prints Equipment Usage by Job.

When importing an Estimate to an existing job, a new option allows a “sweeping replacement” of the existing budget, including the removal of Budget Line Items that were originally included, but are no longer part of the Estimate.

Job Cost Reports that are limited by Date or Fiscal Period now exclude all Job Closing Transactions.

A new limit for the Job Cost Analysis Report allows the exclusion of Inactive Cost Codes.

Draw Requests now have the option to attach Change Orders to Individual Billing Phases.

When printing the Bonding Report for a prior fiscal period or a date range, the Prior Year figures are automatically calculated.

Accounts Payable

There is a new option to email “The check is in the mail,” notifications to vendors. These emails are sent directly after a check run to any or all the vendors paid during the check run. User Conference Suggestion

There is a new option to “mask” the Vendor Federal ID number on 1099 printouts, When masked, the numbers appear as XX-XXX1234 or XXX-XX-1234.

The Invoice Import process now auto-fills in the Due Date with Invoice Date + 30 days, if necessary.

Readability Bars were added as an option to all Accounts Payable Reports.

Opening of the AP Check Printing window was greatly speeded up.

The 1099 Printing window now allows specific vendors to be “tagged” for printing.

When saving a text file for electronic 1099 reporting, the file name and its location can be specified.

The Vendor Entry Insurance tab was modified to more closely match the appearance on standard forms. User Conference Suggestion

Accounts Receivable

The Cover Sheet of a Draw Request now prints first, followed by the Continuation Sheet(s). User Conference Suggestion

AR Aging/History reports may now be limited by Invoice Number or a range of Invoice Numbers.

Proof Listing, Posting, and Aging reports now include the Sales Rep from A/R Invoice Entry.

Optional Readability Bars were added to all A/R reports.

When printing unposted invoices using the Print Invoices in Tagged Batches button, Invoices may now be printed by Invoice Number, Customer Name, or Customer ID.

An Invoice Number is automatically assigned when processing Finance Charge invoices.

When entering a Miscellaneous Receipt, the Account Description is now displayed next to the selected Account Number.

The “Taxable” checkbox on individual invoice line items now defaults to True.

The Taxability Status of each invoice line item is now indicated on the Proof Listing report.

When posting a Draw Request, a new option allows the selection of which Stored Materials are to be transferred to Prior Billings. Previously, all Stored Materials were transferred to Prior Billings each time a Draw Request was posted.

Payroll

An “Earnings History by Year” option was added to Employee Listing report limit.

There is a new option to “mask” the employee Social Security Number on W-2 printouts, When masked, the numbers appear as XXX-XX-1234.

On the Pay Package entry window, the Rate field has been expanded to three decimals.

When selecting a Pay Package during Timesheet Entry, the rate may now be changed “on the fly.”

Added a menu item on the Payroll Payments menu allows direct access to Email Direct Deposit Vouchers, instead of going through the View Postings and Backups window.

Purchase Order

A new column in the Purchase Order Browse window displays an icon that indicates whether the PO has been partially or fully reconciled with a Pack Slip or with an Invoice.

The Purchase Order Entry window was modified to increase its speed.

The Vendor ID and Name fields are now required during PO Entry.

Equipment Costing

Equipment Detail Listing limits were modified to accommodate a user request for additional conveniences.
